摘要: Orientation and alignment of molecules by ultrashort laser pulses is crucial for a variety applications has long been interest in physics chemistry, with the special emphasis on stereodynamics chemical reactions molecular orbitals imaging. As compared to laser-induced alignment, which extensively studied demonstrated, achieving orientation much more challenging task, especially case asymmetric-top molecules. Here, we report experimental demonstration all-optical field-free three-dimensional means phase-locked cross-polarized two-color pulse. This approach based nonlinear optical mixing process caused off-diagonal elements hyperpolarizability tensor. It demonstrated SO2 applicable complex Alignment allows studying photon-molecule interactions greater detail. Here authors demonstrate using COLTRIMS orthogonally polarized but absence DC field.
