摘要: Abstract All- trans -retinoic acid (RA) has been demonstrated to inhibit the growth of numerous breast carcinoma cell lines. In this study we that RA inhibits estradiol stimulation proliferation estrogen-dependent lines MCF-7 and ZR-75. inhibition is associated with marked synthesis secretion a 75,000 molecular weight protein. Minor other proteins was also noted, including 160,000, 95,000, 89,000, 82,000, 52,000 46,000 proteins. Increased secretionof M r protein noted as little 10 nm RA. Stimulation occurred within 24 h adding retinoid at time cellular proliferation. stimulated production both in absence presence estradiol. not difluoromethylornithine or tamoxifen, which significantly inhibited The line ZR-75 when exposed expressed increased but RA-resistant MDA-MB-231. and/or may be intimately involved
