摘要: ABSTRACT Studies were conducted to: (1) evaluate the toxicity of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), water accommodated fraction (WAF) and chemically enhanced (CEWAF) from Alaska North Slope (ANS), Medium South American (MESA) Arabian Light (AL) crude oils on life stages commercially valuable herring cod; (2) use biomarkers as indicators exposure effects; (3) assess environmental, physical, chemical, biological temporal factors affecting toxicity; (4) compare data using identical protocols for different dispersants (Corexit 9500 SPC-1000). Chronic LC50s Pacific embryos 3 (ANS) 1.5 mg-petroleum-hydrocarbons/L. ANS was 2.5–3 times more toxic than AL to Atlantic embryos.
