摘要: Six large 24s-t3 aluminum-alloy-sheet specimens containing various notches or fillets were tested in tension to determine their stress concentration factors both the elastic and plastic ranges. The found be slightly higher than those calculated by Neuber's method obtained photoelastically Frocht. results showed further that factor decreases as strains at discontinuity enter range. A generalization of Stowell's relation for a circular hole an infinite plate was applied specimen shapes gave good agreement with test results.
