摘要: We report the synthesis of tubular graphite cones using a chemical vapor deposition method. The have nanometer-sized tips, micrometer-sized roots, and hollow interiors with diameter ranging from about 2 to several tens nanometers. are composed cylindrical sheets; continuous shortening layers interior exterior makes them cone-shaped. All faceted morphology. constituent sheets identical chiralities zigzag type across entire diameter, imparting structural control tubular-based carbon structures. potential for use as tips scanning probe microscopy, but greater rigidity easier mounting than currently used nanotubes.
