摘要: Unusual health problems have been reported by Gulf War (GW) veterans, but no single etiology has linked to these illnesses. This study was conducted determine the association between self-reported GW deployment stressors and an illness defined a combination of fatigue, mood-cognition, musculoskeletal symptoms. A total 1002 veterans from this cross-sectional survey four Air Force units completed self-administered questionnaire that asked about symptoms, demographic military characteristics, during deployment. Severe mild-moderate positively associated with self-reports pyridostigmine bromide use, insect repellent use belief in threat biological or chemical weapons. Injuries requiring medical attention were only severe illness.
