摘要: This paper presents how SCTP can stall in multihomed scenarios during failover and under certain circumstances. A is where an end-point ceases to communicate for extended period of time, but does not report any error the upper layer. two different sets circumstances a occur: firstly when there underestimation Retransmission Time-Out (RTO) value redundant network path; secondly occurs that causes only SACKs be lost, which confuses sender about path operational. Solutions both these stalls are presented include modifying RTO value, applying Karn’s algorithm monitoring ensuring destination address selection policy changed. also mechanism de-couple data acknowledgement using multi-homed transport protocols, should remove ambiguity offers universal solution stall.
