摘要: Velocity measurements in a liquid metal flow were performed order to study the combined action of rotating (RMF) and traveling magnetic field (TMF). In cylindrical container, RMF alone, as well TMF cause axisymmetric volume forces, which drive corresponding base flows. The combination both fields gives rise an inherent three-dimensional constituent electromagnetic force distribution. case equal frequencies, this drives consisting single large-scale helical motion, implies intense mixing melt. necessary admixture given qualitative change structure is shown be two orders magnitude smaller frequencies compared differing frequencies.
