摘要: In this study, chemical parameters involved in waste olive oil transesterification were investigated and optimized. Better results obtained using KOH methanol instead of NaOH ethanol, which decreases rates. The presence above or below the optimum quantity ester yield because soaps unreacted glycerides, respectively. Settling at ambient temperature under 25 °C increases difficulty glycerol separation a conflict between solubility low temperatures. This could be solved by increasing settling time for settling. summary, reaction was optimized 1.26% KOH, 12% methanol, 1 min stirring, with 90 pour-off time, 11.38% distilled water volume to purify ester, drying over 0.5% Na2SO4. Losses esters during washing process less than 4%. 94%. small prese...
