摘要: Laboratory effectiveness tests have been developed for four classes of oil spill treating agents: solidifiers, demulsifying agents, surface-washing agents and dispersants. Several agent products in these categories tested effectiveness. The aquatic toxicity is an important factor has measured many products. These results are presented. Solidifiers or gelling solidify oil. Test show that solidifiers require between 16% 200% by weight compared to the De-emulsifying emulsion breakers prevent formation break water-in-oil emulsions. Surfactant-containing materials two types, Testing shown orthogonal types agents. Tests surface washing only a few 25 55%, where this defined as percentage removed from test surface. Dispersant using swirling flask reported. Heavy oils values about 1%, medium crudes 10%, light crude 30% very 90%.
