摘要: In 1984, a photographer named Steve McCurry traveled to Pakistan in order document the ordeal of Afghanistan’s refugees, orphaned during Soviet Union’s bombing Afghanistan. refugee camp Nasir Bagh, which was sea tents, he took photograph young girl approximately at age 13. McCurry’s portrait turned out capture emotion quite well and June 1985 it ran on cover National Geographic. The girl’s green eyes have captivated world since then because no one knew her name she became known as “Afghan girl” [368].
