摘要: Abstract The selective adsorption and removal of Au(III) ions using oxidized multi-walled carbon nanotubes from aqueous solutions containing different metal were studied. Characterization studies showed that MWCNTs by the concentrated nitric acid under normal laboratory conditions. study results only could be adsorbed completely complex system other at pH 2.0, within a few minutes ambient temperature. Also, interfering effect may co-exist with in was explored, no sign interference for nanotube surface. studied equilibrium found to follow Langmuir model, kinetically obey pseudo-second order kinetic model. capacity obtained 62.3 mg g− 1, which is higher than any reported value. Finally, real environmental water samples had high affinity selectivity used successfully solutions.
