摘要: Regardless of the nerve defect length, injury is a debilitating condition for affected patient that results in loss sensory and motor function. These functional impairments can have profound impact on patient’s quality life. Surgical approaches treatment short segment defects are well-established. Autologous transplantation, considered gold standard, use artificial grafts safe successful procedures reconstruction. Long which extend 3.0 cm or more problematic repair. Methods reconstruction long limited. Artificial often fail to regenerate autologous limited length number. Cadaveric processed/unprocessed allografts promising alternative surgery. This review gives systematic overview pre-clinical clinical allograft transplantation.
