摘要: Abstract An ultrasonic testing technique was applied for non-destructive quality evaluation of avocado fruit and quantitative relations were established between parameters maturity related factors. The fruits the same batch picking date softened at different storage times, a phenomenon which attributed to biological ages date. Time-shifting test results each according its firmness reduced scatter experimental data. Second-order polynomial expressions represented well changes in attenuation signals with time. A cubic equation represents fairly wave velocity versus linear relationship found signal as measured cone penetrometer test. It concluded that equations this type may be used prediction ripening shelf-life fruit, could replace commonly method.
