摘要: The development of self-management plans arose as clinicians tried to design better methods by which they could deliver asthma care and reduce the significant mortality morbidity associated with this disease. basic principles that resulted have been widely endorsed, are now recommended in long-term management adult asthma. Self-management essentially focus on early recognition unstable or deteriorating asthma, monitoring peak flow symptoms. Through use written guidelines, patients then able determine when it is necessary adjust therapy obtain medical assistance. There convincing evidence leads a marked reduction reduced requirement for acute treatment including hospital admissions. Recent research has also clarified many different issues concerning their structure implementation. In some respects skill plan system ability modify standard meet particular needs individual asthmatic patient, preferences.
