摘要: In Bacillus subtilis, expression of the citrate transporter CitM is under strict control. Transcription citM gene induced by in medium mediated CitS-CitT two-component system and repressed rapidly degraded carbon sources catabolite repression (CCR). this study, we demonstrate that citST genes are part a bicistronic operon. The promoter region was localized stretch 58 base pairs upstream citS deletion experiments. operon presence glucose general transcription factor CcpA. A distal consensus cre site citS-coding sequence implicated mechanism repression. Furthermore, relieved subtilis mutants deficient CcpA or Hpr/Crh, components essential to CCR. Thus, CCR represses operon, which responsible for induction citM, through located 1326 bp from transcriptional start citST.
