摘要: In this study, the heterogeneous photocatalytic degradation of prometryn using TiO2 as photocatalyst was investigated. The main objectives study were: (I) to evaluate kinetics pesticide disappearance, (II) compare efficiency two different types TiO2, (III) examine influence various parameters such initial concentration or catalyst and presence oxidants (H2O2 K2S2O8), (IV) degree mineralization (V) assess detoxification studied processes. experiments were carried out in a 500 ml pyrex UV reactor equipped with 125 W high-pressure mercury lamp surrounded by filter blocking wavelengths below 290 nm. Prometryn determined HPLC. It found that follows first order according Langmuir–Hinshelwood model. Parameters like type affect rate. A synergistic effect observed when an oxidant added suspensions increasing reaction rate photodegradation. extent mineralization, DOC measurements out. After 6 h illumination, achieved up almost 70%. toxicity treated solution evaluated Microtox test based on luminescent bacteria Vibrio fisheri, acute its photoproducts. be dependent system it did not follow disappearance. 2007 Elsevier Ltd.
