摘要: Waste management by anaerobic digestion generates a final byproduct, the digestate, which is usually separated into solid and liquid fractions to reduce volume for transportation. The composition of fraction has been recently studied allow its valorization. However, full digestate size fractionation are less considered in literature efficient post treatment valorization purposes. Therefore, here we characterized detail obtained after solid-liquid separation from 11 full-scale co-digestion plants. high concentration organic matter with Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) 9.2 78 g/L 60–96% COD suspended particles (>1.2 μm), 2–27% colloids (1.2 μm 1 kDa) 2–18% dissolved (<1 kDa). Besides, it contained 1.5 6.5 total nitrogen ions concentrations (0.5–3.1 NH4+, 1.05–5.48 K+, 0–2.13 PO43−). In addition, poor biodegradability due presence humic substances making aerobic inefficient. Only physico-chemical can be proposed removal.
