摘要: Abstract Part II of the review (Part I: Intermetallics 2005;13:5) presents latest research status on mechanical properties, environmental resistance and applications. Mechanical properties single crystals polycrystalline material are presented as a function orientation, temperature, composition, alloying elements. Due to microstructural effects, distinction between single-phase, near multiphase alloys is essential. In addition, fracture behavior discussed. Environmental RuAl takes into account oxidation, corrosion plasma erosion resistance, with emphasis high-temperature oxidation erosion. Concluding this overview, single-phase simultaneously shows good exceptional thermodynamic stability high strength at temperatures, well great ductility room temperature. Moreover, thermal expansion coefficient nearly equal that α-Al 2 O 3 which required for oxide scale adherence. This outstanding combination defines role among comparable intermetallics during prospective improvement
