Results Of 69 401 participants, 16.2% had a BMI 25.0–29.9 kg/m2 (95% CI 15.8 16.6) 6.6% >30 kg/m2 6.3 6.9). Between 2003 2013, prevalence increased by 4.1%, 2.2%. Overall, most popular followed TV newspaper. Respectively, 15.6% 11.7% reported almost every day 30.6% 25.1% at least once week. In watching week with, respectively, 1.6 1.2 times odds overweight, 2.7 1.5 obese compared those who never used radio. Similarly, significant associations observed for newspaper as well. Conclusion noticeably high Nigerian has been increasing steadily over past decade. A statistically association exists TV. Further studies are required develop better understanding mechanisms underlie this relationship.
