摘要: A nation’s consumption of goods and services causes various environmental pressures all over the world due to international trade. We use a multiregional input–output model assess three kinds footprints for member states European Union. Footprints are indicators that take consumer responsibility approach account total direct indirect effects product or activity. quantify (greenhouse gas emissions: carbon footprint; appropriation biologically productive land water area: freshwater consumption: footprint) caused by in EU. find activities an average EU citizen 2004 led 13.3 tCO2e induced greenhouse emissions, 2.53 gha (hectares with global-average biological productivity), 179 m3 blue (ground surface water).
