摘要: In this study we examined the relationship between exposure of adolescents to suicide a peer and subsequent risk. Two hundred sixty-eight high school students filled out self-report questionnaires assessing demographic information, peer, survivor victim, four measures risk (suicidal ideation, past present suicide-related behavior, depressive symptomatology, reasons for living). The 27 individuals who had been exposed were classified as friends or acquaintances victims. Twenty-seven controls then matched on gender, age, ethnicity. results failed support any hypothesized differences unexposed differing categories symptomatology. Three possible explanations are evaluated discussed within conceptual framework.
