摘要: An aggregation approach allows for a dynamic, interactive, adaptive level-of-detail 2D, 2.5D, and 3D treemaps visualization of complex information. For example, the 2.5D treemap concept is extended by providing identification aggregates means an interactive node scoring based on contextual relevance various other task, interaction, visibility, and/or performance specific criteria. resulting mapping rendering, per-frame blocks accumulation those attributes mapped to visual variables (context) described. Since every embodiment also targeted display treemaps, rendering designed be capable execution in real-time. Visual preservation important information conveyed hierarchy elements their (nodes-of-interest) as well compliance known guidelines including aggregated color height information, that are discernible from non-aggregates, outliers within aggregates. Applications include software maps, business intelligence data, file hierarchies storage devices, like.
