摘要: In this work laser ionization at atmospheric pressure has been characterized as an source for mass analyzed ion mobility measurements. Laser explored in different gases including N/sub 2/, air, Ar, P-10, and CO/sub 2/ the resulting mobilities have compared. Further, via Ni..beta.. these IMS studied results were compared to ionization. each case ions produced are injected into a quadrupole spectrometer analyzed. The authors found that almost every example molecular (M/sup +/) or MH/sup +/ is formed with no fragmentation from Ni ..beta.. source. addition K/sub o/ value of species generally change function ..cap alpha.., polarizability, except drift gas where large clusters form around organic ionic core.
