摘要: Since its introduction in 2003, DNA barcoding has proven to be a promising method for the identification of many taxa, including mosquitoes (Diptera: Culicidae). Many mosquito species are potential vectors pathogens, and correct all life stages is essential effective monitoring control. To use identification, reliable comprehensive reference database verified sequences required. Hence, sequence diversity Belgium was assessed using 658 bp fragment mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase I (COI) gene, data set established. Most appeared as well-supported clusters. Intraspecific Kimura 2-parameter (K2P) distances averaged 0.7%, maximum observed K2P distance 6.2% Aedes koreicus. A small overlap between intra- interspecific congeneric observed. Overall, success best match close criteria were high, that above 98%. No clear genetic division found closely related annulipes cantans, which can confused morphological only. The members Anopheles maculipennis complex, s.s. An. messeae, weakly supported monophyletic taxa. This study showed offers framework except some species.
