摘要: The adsorption of hydrogen chloride on outgassed, deuterated, and reduced rutile surfaces has been studied by infra-red spectroscopy. Surface Ti4+O2–Ti4+ groups react with to form hydroxide ions adjacent titanium ion sites. reaction surface leads water coordinately bound Ti4+ associated a ion. Rearrangement Ti4+Cl– species occurs the formation adsorbed which can H3O+Cl– surface. act as Bronsted acid sites in presence ammonia or pyridine.
