摘要: The mechanical properties of a typical sintered aluminium alloy (Al-4.4Cu-0.8Si-0.5Mg) have been improved by the simultaneous use trace additions Sn, high sintering temperatures and modified heat treatments. Tin increases densification, but Sn concentration is limited to less than or equal 0.1wt% because incipient melting occurs during solution treatment at higher levels. A temperature 620 degrees C liquid volume over that formed conventional 590 temperature. However, results in formation an embrittling phase which can be eliminated if incorporated into cycle (a TS treatment). These conditions produce tensile strength 375 MPa, increase nearly 20% unmodified alloy. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
