摘要: Passive protective activity of rabbit antiserum prepared by a representative capsular type II strain Staphylococcus epidermidis in mice was absorbed out with homologous strains S. simulans, cohnii, xylosus, hominis, capitis, hyicus, haemolyticus, and saprophyticus addition to the strain. The minimum amount required for absorption differed greatly, depending upon No shown I III epidermidis, hominis. These results suggest possible specificity cross protection between other species coagulase-negative staphylococci.
