摘要: Let’s Count is an early mathematics program designed by The Smith Family and researchers from Charles Sturt University the Australian Catholic as a means of assisting parents other family members to help their young children (aged 3–5 years) play with, investigate learn powerful mathematical ideas. involves childhood educators in role mentors settings, providing assistance noticing exploring everyday life. In 2011, I was responsible for developing into form distance education subject offer students enrolled teacher degree at University, sustaining initiative achieving wider impact on community. this chapter, report project which followed up with former participants subject, families whom they have worked, ascertain success bringing together support positive transitions children’s education. This chapter explores ongoing effects educators’ families’ engagement program, shares examples activities prior-to-school, school, community contexts.
