摘要: Cascade genetic testing is indicated for family members of individuals positive on a test, and particularly relevant child health because their vulnerability the long-term economic implications. has patient- system-level implications; however cascade costs effects are not routinely considered in evaluation. The methodological challenges associated with incorporating evaluation require examination. purpose this scoping review was to identify published evaluations that testing. Citation databases were searched English-language reporting Nineteen publications included. In four, used new index patients-cascade also considered; thirteen assessed strategies identification at-risk relatives; two calculated as secondary objective. Methodological related study design, costing, measurement valuation outcomes, modeling. As studies may currently be underestimating both cost benefits attributable technologies through omission effects, development methods address these difficulties required.
