摘要: We used a combination of chemical analysis, seroagglutination, and an enzyme-linked immunosorbant assay to examine the glycolipids rapidly growing mycobacteria in order define basis antigenicity these organisms. This dual serological approach established that typing antigens Mycobacterium chelonae subsp. belong polar C-mycoside glycopeptidolipid class, major component which contains trisaccharide composed 3,4-di-O-methylrhamnose, rhamnose, 6-deoxytalose. The glycolipid patterns M. abscessus were identical. same showed there is no relationship between fortuitum biovar peregrinum. specific lipids peregrinum alkali-stable class are different from those chelonae. isolates produced three alkali-labile with features lipooligosaccharide antigens. Moreover, strains antisera cross-reactions. Thus, analysis type-specific powerful adjunct serology for studying antigenic relationships among mycobacteria, our results support reinstitution “Mycobacterium peregrinum” as species distinct fortuitum.
