摘要: The “Cran aux iguanodons” of Bernissart is a sinkhole (or chimney caving) with valuable paleontological deposit due to the exceptional quantity and diversity fossils found during excavation conducted from 1878 1881. In fact, bones have been discovered in clayey geological formation when digging mine gallery at –322 m level. A subsequent extraction gave an overall production 29 iguanodon’s skeletons. Referring available data Natural Sciences Museum Brussels where skeletons are exhibited, one does not know degree depletion after extraction.
