摘要: The creation of families by means the new reproductive technologies has raised important questions about psychological consequences for children, particularly where gamete donation been used in child's conception. Findings are presented a study family relationships and social emotional development children created as result 2 most widely technologies, vitro fertilization (IVF) donor insemination (DI), comparison with control groups naturally conceived child adoptive families. quality parenting was assessed using standardized interview mother, mothers fathers completed questionnaire measures stress associated parenting, marital satisfaction, state. Data on children's psychiatric state were also obtained questionnaires teachers. administered Separation Anxiety Test, Family Relations Pictorial Scale Perceived Competence Social Acceptance. results showed that assisted conception is superior to shown child. No group differences found any emotions, behavior, or parents. findings discussed terms their implications understanding role genetic ties functioning development.
