摘要: Europium doped Na2O–ZnO–TeO2 glasses were prepared by conventional melt technique. The differential thermal analysis and gravimetric confirmed the formation of glass with transition temperature about 446°C for all glasses. X-ray diffraction spectra revealed that these amorphous in nature. absorption emission samples characterized UV-VIS spectroscopy photoluminescence studies. It was found band gap energy decreases rapidly (2.86–1.43 eV) increase doping concentration. Optical properties had shown enhanced luminescence at 537 nm (5D0−7F0), 591 (5D0−7F1) 614 nm (5D0−7F2) due to europium (Eu3+). cross-section 5D0–7F2 also estimated. dielectric constant studied different frequencies. conductivity measured suggested Arrhenius mechanism conduction.
