摘要: Radio-astronomical observations are increasingly corrupted by radio frequency interference, and on-line detection filtering algorithms becoming essential. To facilitate the introduction of such techniques into astronomy, we formulate astronomical problem in an array signal processing language give to some elementary from that field. We consider two topics detail: interference rank estimation short-term covariance matrices spatial subspace projection. discuss experimental data collected at Westerbork Synthesis Radio Telescope illustrate effectiveness spacetime blanking process on recovery a 3C 48 absorption line presence GSM mobile telephony interference.
