摘要: Crete Island is rich in renewable energy resources such as wind and solar. Likewise other European territories, sources already are being explored for power production. Currently a large amount of on curtailed during certain daily periods result reduced demand minimum operating levels thermal generators. Reducing curtailment magnitude requires additional flexibility the grid, electric storage one them. This paper address generation minimization through surplus. NaS (sodium sulfura) battery modelling used this study order to shift from off-peak on-peak technical-economic analysis, considering total annualized cost system based an annual basis. The obtained results real data, which includes demand, conventional generation.
