摘要: Objectives Obesity and diabetes have become the most common human health problems worldwide. Obesity's contribution to type 2 might be due dysregulation of adipokines glucose uptake. Methods In this study, we performed in-vivo in-vitro studies evaluate effects Platycodon grandiflorum extract (PGE) on uptake. Before platycodin D concentrations were analysed by HPLC in PGE prepared water, 50% ethanol 80% ethanol, selected as for study based results. Key findings We found that inclusion high-fat diet (HFD) markedly attenuated food intake, body weight, epididymal fat adipocyte size blood levels oral tolerance test mice, maintained serum adiponectin, resistin, leptin, fructosamine triglycerides. Gene expression analysis revealed up-regulated down-regulated TNF-α leptin tissue. L6 muscle cells vitro, increased insulin-stimulated uptake. Conclusions conclude may improve obesity mice fed an HFD uptake modifying adipokines, could offer clinical benefits a supplement treat diabetes.
