摘要: There is increasing data in favour of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) therapy patients with oligo-asthenozoospermia and normal-range gonadotropins order to increase sperm count above all motility. Some studies showed an improvement DNA fragmentation spontaneous pregnancy. Recently, biosimilar FSH has been marketed the same indications. We performed a retrospective multicentric case-control study involving 147 asthenozoospermic between 18 45 years age. A total 97 were treated 150 UI three times week for 3 months, while 50 control subjects received no treatment. Patients evaluated at baseline after months semen analysis including fragmentation, testicular colour Doppler ultrasound, blood tests. Spontaneous pregnancies recorded during further follow-up period 6 months. Treated treatment statistically significant concentration, count, motile sperm, as well improved progressive motility non-progressive reduction. Conversely, group, change was found. Pregnancy rate significantly higher patients. These suggest comparable efficacy male infertility; however, larger are needed confirm our results.
