摘要: This invention describes polymers which are obtained by copolymerization of 15-85 wt % N,N-dimethylacrylamide with about a fluorinated monomer such as perfluoroalkyl-alkylene acrylate or -methacrylate from 3 to 25 fluorine-atoms and optionally, 0-50 other acrylates methacrylates 0-20 %, but not more than 5 mol polyvinyl functional crosslinking agent. These machinable in the dry state form clear hydrogels 25-75 water content possess oxygen-permeabilities 3-7 times higher conventional similar content. In absence crosslinking, novel plasticized water, forming hydroplastics 30-70 The crosslinked especially useful for fabricating contact lenses extended wear either cutting polishing xerogel button, spin casting direct molding bulk solution.
