摘要: The intracellular K+ level in bacteria is strictly controlled by uptake and efflux systems. Among these, KdpFABC a high-affinity transporter system that generally activated the KdpDE two-component response to limitation stress. However, regulatory mechanism remains obscure lacking kdpDE genes. Here we report transcription of kdpFABC operon distinctively regulated cyclic diadenylate monophosphate (c-di-AMP) riboswitch located at 5'-untranslated region kdp transcript, binding c-di-AMP promotes its intrinsic termination blocks transcription. Further, concentration was found decrease under stress, leading transcriptional read-through over terminator allow expression. This element predominantly Bacillus cereus group correlate well with homeostasis affects variety crucial cellular functions.
