摘要: Abstract The nature of the arrangement 16S and 23S ribosomal RNA genes on Bacillus subtilis chromosome was studied by means a Cs2SO4 density gradient centrifugation technique after complexing DNA-(ribosomal) hybrids with mercuric ions. It observed that same fragments single-stranded DNA an average molecular weight 1.9 × 106 which hybridize also RNA. This indicates for both these species are physically linked such fragments. Some evidence suggests two types interspersed each other, perhaps in sets, contains gene.
