摘要: The epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) plays a fundamental role in the early stages of breast cancer invasion. Snail, zinc finger transcriptional repressor, is an important regulator EMT. Snail phosphorylated by GSK3β and subsequently degraded βTrCP-mediated ubiquitination. We identified additional kinase, DYRK2, that regulates stability. Knockdown DYRK2 promoted EMT invasion vitro vivo. Consistent with these results, was found to be down-regulated human tissue. Patients low DYRK2-expressing tumors had worse outcome than those high tumors. These findings revealed metastasis degrading Snail.
