摘要: There is a growing imperative for infrastructure decisions in Australia to be based on evidenced approaches which are data driven. Urban growth modelling increasingly being used strategic planning practice. However, current models tend "once-off" applications static equilibrium that represent little or no behavioural validity. To increase the uptake of urban support we argue these need become more responsive complex, multi-modal and demand-side policy environment, founded complexity sciences but also facilitative participatory approaches. This paper presents critical review two case study alternative land use context Australian local government areas, assessed against an evaluation framework developed from set best practice criteria, sourced international literature.
