摘要: Currently, the quality of supplied power is important to several customers. Power (PQ) a service and many customers are ready pay for it. In future, distribution system operators could decide, or be obliged by authorities, supply their with different PQ levels at prices. A new device that can fulfill this role OPEN unified power-quality conditioner (UPQC), composed power-electronic series steady-state performancemain unit installed in medium-voltage/low-voltage (LV) substation, along shunt units connected close end users. The parallel do not have common dc link, so control strategies than traditional UPQC techniques. This achieve general improvement PQ, reducing most disturbances all mains using only unit. Additional increments (i.e., interruptions), provided who need it (custom power) units. Therefore, solution combines an users, cost reduction those high power. proposed has been analyzed described, model 400-kVA LV grid considered test network evaluate performance functioning limits. results obtained under conditions justify configuration chosen good performance.
