摘要: This paper investigates alternation patterns in length, shape and orientation of dorsal cirri (fleshy segmental appendages) phyllodocidans, a large group polychaete worms (Annelida). We document the several families Phyllodocida (Syllidae, Hesionidae, Sigalionidae, Polynoidae, Aphroditidae Acoetidae) identify simple mathematical rule bases that describe progression these sequences. Two fundamentally different binary were found on first four segments: 1011 for nereidiform 1010 aphroditiform families. The pattern all matches one-dimensional cellular automaton Syllidae (nereidiform) Fibonacci string sequence. Hesionidae showed greatest variation patterns, but corresponded to various known substitution rules. Comparison 22 segments using distance measure supports current ideas phylogeny within Phyllodocida. These results suggest gene(s) involved post-larval growth employ switching sequence corresponds
