摘要: Polysaccharides are the renewable natural reservoir which can be tailored to obtain a broad spectrum of macromolecular materials. The multifunctional nature polysaccharides offers wide flexibility tailoring and modification. To suit adsorption applications, many water-soluble have been transformed insoluble materials by chemical modification cross-linking. These also utilized for coagulation–flocculation industrial wastes. Depending upon targeted application, may either or coagulation flocculation, solubility characteristics these tailored. Present chapter focuses on polysaccharide-derived that known decolorize waste synthetic aqueous dye solutions through flocculation adsorption.
