摘要: AbstractContext: The total antioxidant activity (TAC) may vary considerably between onion cultivars. Immunological effects of phenolic compounds are still underestimated.Objective: objective this study is to determine the phenol content (TPC) and relative TAC three Allium cepa L. (Liliaceae) cultivars cultivated in Cannara (Italy): Rossa di Toscana, Borettana Rovato, Dorata Parma, evaluate extracts ability induce human immune cell proliferation.Materials methods: TPC was determined by Folin–Ciocalteu method, with FRAP, TEAC/ABTS, DPPH methods.
