摘要: AbstractContext: The total antioxidant activity (TAC) may vary considerably between onion cultivars. Immunological effects of phenolic compounds are still underestimated.Objective: objective this study is to determine the phenol content (TPC) and relative TAC three Allium cepa L. (Liliaceae) cultivars cultivated in Cannara (Italy): Rossa di Toscana, Borettana Rovato, Dorata Parma, evaluate extracts ability induce human immune cell proliferation.Materials methods: TPC was determined by Folin–Ciocalteu method, with FRAP, TEAC/ABTS, DPPH methods. Peripheral blood mononuclear cells from healthy donors were incubated for 24 h at 37 °C 1 ng/mL extract PBS, immunostained, then analyzed 4-color flow cytometry phenotypic characterization T helper (CD4+ cells), cytotoxic lymphocytes (CD8+ regulatory (CD25high CD4+ natural killer cells/monocytes (CD16+ cells)....
