摘要: Carbon dioxide (CO2) is notorious for being a greenhouse gas and the most important cause of global warming. However, it can be converted into useful products as source carbon. Reduction CO2 therefore an attractive research topic many chemists. Different methods electrocatalytic reduction have been reported previously. Since very stable, direct electroreduction CO requires high potential at −2.2 V versus Ag/AgCl. In this work, was carried out by photoelectrocatalysis in presence cobalt(III)tetraphenylporphyrin [Co(TPP)Cl] −1.85 V with current efficiency 71%. At illuminated p-type silicon photocathode, performed 300 mV which positive. same conditions, −1.55 V ca 65% required carbon electrode.
