摘要: ABSTRACTInvestigation reports of fatal confined space accidents nearly always point to a problem identifying or underestimating risks. This paper compares 4 different risk analysis tools developed for spaces by applying them 3 hazardous scenarios. The were namely 1. checklist without estimation (Tool A), 2. with scale B), 3. calculation formal hazard identification stage C), and 4. questionnaire followed matrix D). Each tool's structure practical application studied. Tools A B gave crude results comparable those more analytic in less time. Their main limitations lack contextual information the identified hazards greater dependency on user's expertise ability tackle nature.
