摘要: Angiotensin II (AII)-immunoreactive cell bodies were found in all parts of the paraventricular nucleus hypothalamus (PVH) normal, colchicine-treated rat. The greatest concentration cells was posterior part magnocellular division nucleus, while scattered 5 parvocellular division. In comparison, Brattleboro rat showed similar staining PVH, although a substantial decrease number AII-stained normal animal, fiber evident both laminae median eminence. This immunostaining selectively enhanced internal lamina following water deprivation, and external adrenalectomy. to animal with regard lamina, but, consistent diminished immunoreactive neurons, little detected. Unilateral lesions PVH fibers varicosities ipsilateral bilateral virtually eliminated on sides. findings indicate that specific subpopulations neurons contain an antigen is immunologically synthetic AII unrelated vasopressin or its prohormone.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
